Your big dent does look like it'll pop right out. Good looking out but there are a lot of people out there right now doing side jobs for very cheap. Christmas time and lack of good jobs is taking its toll.
Just check craigslist and the amount of people trying to "diagnose" your check engine lights for 20$ with their $100 kragen scan tools.

I used to ALWAYS run into to two dudes that would do this in Pleasanton when I used to work out there. I swear it was always the same ol story, same lamented paper with a list of speakers/pictures, and the same white van.
