I was driving home from the target shooting range around 5pm and waited at the metering lights for traffic to get onto the freeway from Stevens Creek on HWY 85. It was my turn to get onto the freeway and a black car with a familiar body style drove by. The traffic was pretty thick but I could see the car up about 3 cars ahead. I knew what it was when I got clear look at the rear of the car. I got out my digital camera and snuck up through traffic and got along side of it. I had to pick my mouth up from the floor boards because I was in awe of the beauty of this car. I snapped the first 2 photos while driving at 50mph.





When I got even with him I gave him the thumbs up and he didn't even notice me. So I snapped this photo. I guess he finally looked over at me wondering what I was doing. As you can see in the photo he is starting to laugh.



I put down the camera and gave him another thumbs up. In his laughing episode, he gave me the thumbs up and I took off while he stayed at a steady 60mph.

My quest for seeing the most beautiful cars is almost over. Now I have seen a McClaren F1, an MB SLR McClaren, Lambo Gallardo and Murciealgo, and a Ferrari Challenge Stradale. As soon as I get to see an Enzo and a Carrera GT, my quest for jocking the worlds most beautiful rides will be complete.

 

Wow, not only did you see one on the road, you got pictures! I have to say your pictures make that car look nicer than any of the magazine pictures! Do you have pictures of any of the other cars you have spotted?

I saw and sat in a DB9 today. The guy was super nice, he graduated from the same high school I did 35 years before me.

Ive seen an Enzo before in Lake tahoe...couldnt get my camera out in time...but it sounded bad A**

 

Saw a Ferrari F50 on my way to class a few weeks ago. It was so awesome and sounded so amazing. Unfortunately... my camera was in the trunk!!!

I saw a streetrace between some Porsche and an F50 in Saratoga today. I also then saw a 360 mobbbbbiiin it up 9 later on in the night.

Very nice. Saw one at the SF auto show. Engine layout is very funky on hose things. And the wheels remind me of compressor blades.

No, fortunately this is the only car that gave me enough time to whip out the camera quick enough because of traffic. If it wouldn't have been for traffic, I would have never gotten these pics.

No, but I know exactly what you are talking about. I have a vid with a SLR racing an E55 and that air brake pops up. Cool design.

I saw an Enzo goose it on a freeway onramp a few weeks ago. Plus there's always a F50 sittin around right down the street in danville. Anybody seen that Maybach that drives around alamo all the time? Know who's it is? Not very pretty, but expensive nonetheless.. Oh, and what about the Bentley GT's, KurleeDaddiewrx?..those are pretty tight cars too. Just saw one of them in Blackhawk..
