I disagree - I don't think he is making fun of them; I think he is paying homage in his own medium which he is famous for.
I certainly thought it was entertaining and not offensive.

His Mario Kart video is one of my all time faves. He doesn't make fun of the genre/theme he's using in the videos, he uses them for entertainment. Saving Private Ryan is also simply a Hollywood portrayal of the events of WWII, meant to ENTERTAIN. History channel has plenty of solid, factual, educational programs meant to teach about all the details of WWII. Remi did nothing that hollywood has not done to death, only that by doing it in public he has made himself look silly, which is more offensive to himself than anyone in WWII.
