Save Me From Myself (koRn listeners)
Is the book by Brian "Head" Welch. Its been out for a couple years but I decided to go pick it up. Im about 60 pages in so far. Its CRAZY! Goes over his life and how the band became to be what it is today. Some really trippy stuff in it.

He also put out his own cd after leaving koRn
If you like the band/listen to their music I would say go out and pick this up.
Anyone out there read this already?

wow, I never heard about this book. I used to love korn! I'm gonna pick that up for sure.

Ya first thing i saw on Head was about a yr ago.. Late one night flipping thru on the tv. Saw him on the 700club or w/e it is, talking about how his life has changed so much. Talking about his new cd that is a "religious" cd but didnt drift away from his heavy metal side.
All and all im learning some crazy things about the band when they were starting out. Almost all of them were meth tweakers and thats how some of their songs came to be (Shoots and Ladders).

Um well he says that he had a pretty normal childhood growing up in Bakersfield (thats the reason he turned out the way he did lol) or Bako as they call it. His dad would sometimes flip and yell, kind of an alchy but not abussive.
So he was never molested, his parents are still alive... but there were more than a few times of an almost OD.. There are some pics in the book and one of them is him laying on his back ontop of an amp with his eyes rolling into the back of his head and his guitarr still strapped to his chest. The caption read something like "High on meth and other things i pass out inbetween sets, ill ive eaten in 3 days is drugs and PB&J"

but at least you dont live in "Bako" lolBefore he hit it big in koRn he was in another band that never hit it big and to pay the bills he was working as a coroner's assistant
