You might be asking "Why dude, your car got OWNED by a forest!" well... I had many many many aftermarket parts that might still be in working shape, and the sale of these parts (at low low prices of course) will help with the bills from this unfortunate incident. From pictures my folks took, the turbo kit still might be in good shape as well as my tec-II, the motor, various suspention components, and a few other items fellow i-clubbers might find useful. (short shifter, fog lights, etc)

We'll be BBQ'n it up and have plenty of refreshments for anyone who wants to come by and lend a strong wrench hand...as mine are a little battered still. Or if you wanna come by and take a look under the skin of a GC8, or maybe just want to relieve some stress on a fender with a really big hammer. There will be plenty of parking, if u wanna bring friends. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please reply here if interested. I'll reveal the location the day before or the day of, as i don't want pirates pokin around my loot. For reference, i'll tell you its near Brentwood, about a 15 min drive north of livermore, and about a 30 min drive south/SE of concord.

Well, I don't know squat about working on cars and I would have to be back in town by 6pm (sac)..hmm

well, if I get my WRX back by Saturday (cross your fingers for me, I miss her) I think I'd like to come out and learn a bit if you don't mind. If worse comes to worse I can help lift heavy objects

Could you give me a time estimate of drive from sac? I'm figuring about 2 hours since you indicate it is near concord.
