Eminem did know that Bruno was to fall on to him but was unaware that he would be wearing a jock strap. The show producers had to clear it with him beforehand since it was a stunt.

Yes, Eminem did leave the taping of the MTV Award Show after the stunt, BUT he stayed in his trailer and *sulked* partied until near the end of the show.
