I think Sapp does not have 6-7 years of playing time. The Raiders could have spent that money better. Why won't Al Davis die?

Parella and Washington are the two best tackles in the game IMHO. Sapp is like **** on a boar.
I still don't see how they are going to replace Barton and Romo.

 

I thought he was goin to Cinci. It doesn't matter, the Raiders will still suck.

if only it would end there......Bay Area sports is going to (continue to) suck for a loooong time! Warriors, 49ers, Giants are all headed for a world of hurt & futility in the indefinite future.

Oh well, at least I can still root for the Lakers while Kobe is still around and Shaq has a few good years left!

 

there is no way sapp will ever see all of that money. contracts in the nfl means nothing. it is about gauranteed money and I think his deal is something like 2yrs/9M.

 

Unfortunately, $9m is still a huge chunk of the salary cap. I think the money could have been better spent than on Sapp. Boy, Bay Area sports is going to keep on stinking for a while.
