I FINALLY GOT MY CAR BACK!!!! after three weeks i finally got it back. the dealership put 91 miles on it though. they said that they had to drive it that much to test it and make sure that the check engine light was not going to come back on. they told me that it was a wiring problem. i am in the process of documenting all of the problems i have had with my car and the dealership and send them to subaru and try to push for a new car. think i have a chance? i have owned it for about 9 weeks and it has been in the shop for 4 of those weeks. it only has 2700 miles. are you meeting up this wednesday? i think i might actually be able to come and not in a ford focus. lol. talk to you later.

Hey Nick,
Glad to hear you got it back. I would do some research first, then wait for the light to come back on before sending anything in. That way if you have a legit reason, it will be a sure win. Thats 4 times for the same problem already??

the check engine light has only come on twice, but it took them a week to fix it the first time, they replaced the catalytic converter. then it came on again and it took them three weeks to fix it, they changed the O2 sensor, reflashed the computer and then disconnected and reconnected all the wiring. so it only happened twice, but it took four weeks total.
what time you planning on meeting at in & out this wed? so far it looks like i will be able to come, studying for finals can wait. lol

Yeah if it totals more than 30 days it was down, you do have a case. But wait first. Your poblem COULD be fixed. So, you might not want to go through all that crap, if it is indeed fixed. get it??
