Ditto. Pops and I have been going since high school (~'93?). Only missed one year because we were in Hawaii for Thanksgiving

Yeah, there are better car shows out there but it's a good time regardless. Walk around, drink a beer, talk cars. Good day out!

There's a reason the show is always empty, def one of the worst car shows there is.

It's been better than the Silicon Valley International Auto Show, though.

It's fun to go to moscone center, but it'd sure be nice if they had the cool ****,
LA>SF car show without a doubt. I still go to the SF one every year (and will go this year) but there are really only handful of cars that I'm impressed by. The last couple years I feel like it's been catering to those who are actually in the market for a new car.

Agreed. It's just a showcase of the manufacturers/dealers. Barely any concepts. ho-hum

This will be my 6th year in a row working this event for Volvo!! Come by and say whats up (working everyday but the 19th)! Ill be the guy in the flossy suit

and i agree that this show is kinda lame compared to the big Shows like LA, Detroit, etc but its still a good time and I look forward to working it every year. I wanna see the new 6 seriers beamer and the baby range rover in person...plus I get to drive out all the Lexus off the floor on the last night because my stepdad takes them into his inventory at Lexus of Pleasanton!

this is an ignorant comment btw...ive already agreed its no LA or Detroit but this show sees a good few hundred thousand attendants if not more and the floor is never dull all week even when people are at work, thanksgiving etc. Its not touted as the greatest show ever, its original purpose was as a model year lineup review, not RaceWars!

Your kids will be able to get in for free, but I believe you and your dad will pay full price.
