San Fran = no clutch
So I took my first trip to San Fran and luckily I didnt have my WRX with me. I drove a rental car and was happy because the hills in the city are crazy. How do you keep a clutch good with those hills?

after you gain that feel for where exactly your clutch engages you will be able to just instantly gas and pull out the clutch and make solid engagement without tearing up your clutch.. almost every suby driver i have heard drive revs up waaay too high, and pulls the clutch out way too slow. when the light turns green, hill or flat i go, no high rev up then move. you gotta gain that feel or else quick clutch replacements will occur.
welcome to my streets.. = ) .. haha yah its a B**** but you get better along the way.. #1 rule.. dont DIE OUT! ... n practice.. take it to california st. for a test hill... GL!
omg, one time we decided to go up lombard st. (where crooked(sp?) st. is) and we saw the traffic backed up all the way to vanness, and the cars are going about 3 to 4inch every after 5mins. i was only half way up and i said eff it!! my foot got tired and we just headed to the fishermans warf. i only brought my wrx up there once but it wasnt that traffic at all but that time it was like bumper to bumper and the asshat minivan at the back of me didnt give me enough space incase if i roll back a bit from a stop. ....

I was rolling backwards in an automatic. I know I could do it in my WRX, but my leg would be so damn tired.
