When Deadliest Warrior (Whatever that show is called) did the Samurai VS Viking, I'm sooo glad that the Samurai won, I thought the Viking was going to win because of the way they built Vikings up during the whole show, but the end battle said it all.

The man in the video is Machii Isao, the "Heisei no Samurai". He's a Guiness Record holder for 7 consecutive slashes on a single rolled tatami mat, a feat that's unheard of since even one clean cut without knocking over the tatami is supreme skill.
Here's a video of him replicating his Guiness Record, plus going for 8 slashes, slashing various objects, splitting a cucumber lengthwise, and another demo of his ball slash.
