Samual Adams Octoberfest - any good?

Any good? What kind of beer do you usually drink?

I had this last night and didn't like it much. I'm not a Sam Adams fan, though.

Anchor Steam, Sierra Nevada, Newcastle and Guinness are my regulars.

I had some on tap from Famous Dave's in Gilroy last night and it's not bad. It's easy to drink, not a lot of bite. But I'd prefer regular Sam Adams over it.

I look at the Octoberfest as a prelude to all the "winter warmers" out there. I'm really looking forward to Sierra Nevada bringing out the Bigfoot. All in all I think Octoberfest is ok, it's a little sweet for me.

I had some the other day. I thought it was very good. I will buy it again. I normally drink really hoppy IPAs.
