that is completely unacceptable for a professional motorsports event, for that matter, any motorsports event in general. Makes you realize.... never underestimate the level of safety/planning needed in racing.

They called-off that one way too quickly. If only the rest of the people immediately on the scene had the intestinal fortitude of the driver's friend. Might of had a different ending.
