I bet they are going to sell the car for a whole lot more though. Doesnt it have some weirdo 5 cylinder in it or somthing? This is such the nonfat latte version of the wrx. Sure it looks better, but i think owning a fancy turtleneck sweater is also a prerequisite.

Eh, let 'em have it. All it says to the rest of the turtleneck clad saab driving crowd is that the person driving it hasn't yet "arrived". Kinda the way a C series merc says the same.

That said, it does look ok for a clone!

 

the saabaru is built on the impreza chassis and drivetrain. it's even manufactured by fuji heavy industries.

well, you can't trash saab for trying to bolster their faltering lineup with a superior car, but who you can trash is GM for making the connection. I remember hearing that subaru was pissed that the whole saab thing was happening, but GM or someone was pulling the strings ultimately.
