what's the difference? they look exactly the same except maybe the lip. i want some s203 wheels on my STi, but not willing to pay around 3k for the set of BBS. maybe powdercoating some Formula Mesh wheels into Diamond Black would be a good alternative?

 

Well let's see here.

1. It's an S203 wheel from an S203. OEM :drool:
2. Rotas

That's about it. If you look carefuly, you might notice the middle part of the Rota rim is a bit bigger then the s203's middle part. I may be wrong.

Don't get me wrong I have a set of Rotas (white attacks) and I love them!
But i would get the s203's if I were you.

 

one of the nasioc vendors was selling them. They essentially are 18x8 BBS Re's that are Black diamond silver (i think that was the color name).

IMO these are the BEST wheels i have seen on any Subaru.

you can fake the funk and get some s203 centercaps for the Rotas. Too bad they're like $300 bucks.

 

These wheels were on the S401 before they were on the S203. mmm... my dream car... STi Legacy...

 

The only Formula Mesh's that are availible are Gold as of right now

 

are the other colors not released yet?

 

found these on BBS website

www.bbs.com > click "Program" > "for automotive" > select car make/model. They look slightly different, but the S203 rims were most likely exclusively designed/built for Subaru.
