I saw an ad in today's SJ Mercury newspaper... wow, pretty cheap. probably a base model but still.

Gotta go test drive one... hehe

Are you sure, I thought only the auto tranny got the gutless engine?

It's not that bad. I sat in one (front & rear seats) @ the SJ Auto show...

I just wish it had more power.

My buddy at work just got a blue one [RX8] with the factory X-Man style wing. It looks pretty nice and the interior is 100 times better than our interior (WRX/STI). The RX-8 definatley has a little more pimp factor but I still prefer my speed and performance over his sweet interior. I also think it might be as quick or a little quicker than a stock WRX. It's been so long since my REX has been stock that it's hard for me to compare. When I drove his RX8 I did feel like it was low on torque but it did get up and go. Not bad for the price.
