Rs hood on WRX

Rs hood on WRX

Does anyone know if we can run an RS hood on the WRX with a fmic? Do you know of any running around? The Santa Rosa police have assembled a street racer task force & have created a profile to look out for, so I am going into super sleeper mode. Soon on the FS: will be CF hood & C-west body kit Also JDM head lights.

I just found a photo-chop of a seemingly 2002 2.5RS. It was actually a wrx with aps stealth black FMIC. Just the right look for me.

you really should feel how heavy the RS hood is compared to the WRX hood....
If you don't care about the weight saving, you can do it....but it's really really heavy...

Tommy: Okay, so I am glad that a performance shop chimned in on this , What I was mostly worried about was the lack of air flow around the turbo. I'll have to concider the weight. Or maybe having the hole on a stock wrx hood filled in. Now I'm running a CF hood with pins. STi all over. Body kit Jdm lights no front plate Harness bar sparco harnesses. Just screaming HEY! Send me to the REF. THis will not do..

vin : thats pretty stock looking compared to some of the cars we got around the tri city area.

You can also consider the Aqua Reverse scoop. It does draw alot of hot air out of the engine bay. We're running one on our shop car...does the job on keeping everything from heat soaking too badly...

Yeah, i think I saw that one . Its on Mike's car right? I saw it a while back at group-s When I was picking up some parts From the wagon pull apart that "girl" did. Have you guys been noticing an increase in cars being sent to the REF. Or am i just getting paranoid?

The Front mount is the early style short boxy APS black model. its hardly noticable. Almost looks like an oversized radiator.

Heavy??? There is a 2.5RS STi aluminum hood out there that is just as light as the WRX hood...FYI

This reliable, Vince? I don't really have much to worry about yet but I don't like being on anyone's radar for any reason.

Also, I think I know someone in Petaluma (milesmatics) that would kill for your JDM headlights if you go that route.
