I'm trying to get from Redwood City to S. San Jose (Camden Ave.) by 6:30pm tonight. I think I might be able to leave around 5:00pm.

What would be the best route?

101->85?

 

Will 101 be faster than 280 at that hour?

 

I honestly don't know because I've only commute on 101 before. But I know going north is worst than south (used to commute from Santa Clara to SF).

280 is much faster than 101 at any given time. I drive home on 280 and it moves until right around 85 but that isn't too bad.

on the 101 it's slow almost the whole way. the only pocket that isn't slow is after 85 to lawrence.
