Rota P45F Wheel sizes
Do they come smaller than 18" they only have 18's on subydude.. hm
also if i got 18's what are disadvantages of having 18"? well obviously besides the smaller sidewall and not so good ride.. any performance issues? i would think it would affect accelleration due to the size and that whole physics momentum thing..
i just like those rims a lot.. and well i cant find em in 17x7.5 or 17x8 and would rather not get 18's
thanks guys

Hey,
The P45F is only available in 18" There will not be a 17" wheel made. You will have to run a slightly smaller sidewall but that really isn't that big of a disadvantage. The car will still ride very nice and it ultimately comes down to what tire choice you make. You can run a very well rounded tire and have a great ride or run a very aggressive tire with a stiff sidewall and that will give a firmer ride. You can't tell about the acceleration changing, my car doesn't accelerate any slower or at least that I can tell with the P45F's. Of course the wheel weighs slightly more than a 17" so there is more mass to roll around. Overall it's an awesome wheel and if you want to swng by the shop we have all colors available so you can see it in person.

if you're not too far.
i have 2 sets of p45fs... one set of bronze and one set of gold... if you want to try it on for size and see how the ride is... you're more than welcome to come by.
i think w/ the new +1 standard for the 06 wrx being 17"... you'll see a lot more people running 18" on their wrx.

awesome thanks for the info.
i am still trying to decide exactly what set i like best, but these p45f's are very nice. it fills in nicely, especially on black cars.. and zoeb your car looked hot with the gold and the blue.
i will let you guys know soon enough.

Do you guys have the black with red lip? Im very tempted to get a set for summer and also, when you move up to 18, would an alignment be required?

You need to mention you want that color in the group buy and we can put you on a list for it.

i would expect an alignment would be necessary with that kind of change but, i have never had 18's
nope no alignment changes...all you are doing is going from a 225/45/17 i presume or the stock wheel which i believe is a 50 series tire, so essentially you are gonna run a 225/40/18, or what i did i did not have to roll fenders, and my car was pretty low, i ran 235/40/18's. i went from 17's to 18's all the time on my suby. I never felt any change in harshness or acelleration.
good luck greg...btw, thost wheels in black if they got em would look sick on your suby...
my 2.3232 cents
