On the registering deal...technically yes it's fraud since you hold your primary residence and drive the car in CA. Will you get caught...hard to say, people do it all the time. But your car being what it is and it being modified definately increases the chances.

If you pay your ticket you can leave your car illegal..until you get popped again.

I run with no front plate and my front windows are tinted at 35%. I have never been popped for the window but I'm sure it will happen sooner or later. I figure for $70 to get them redone it's worth the risk. My plate....$10...big deal.

Everything else on my car is 100% legal. If I was running crazy mods....no cats...high dollar fine/impound kinda stuff...I'd probably not run tint and have my plate on.

plus my cars a wagon....yeah for wagon stealth.

I have an administration of justice class taught by a Fremont Detective (ex patrol) and there is a Fremont Police Explorer in the class as well and they are always talking about how Rosettie knows the vehicle code front to back...he'll get you for everything...luckily i havent encountered him yet...he drives a Toyota right?

I'm waiting to get pulled over by him, just so I can throw the code right back at him. Where did you get your ticket and when?

isnt fremont PD so over budget and underpowered now that they are proposing to stop responding to house alarms? and yet, they allow officers to waste time on nitpicky minor traffic offenses.

I paid for the ticket as well. 130 out the door. It sucked but, it was cheaper than having the local tinter take the tint off, then reapply it.

but to them and probably a majority of fremont residents, those are still traffic offenses.

especially on those "noisy" cars that those "young folks" are driving...

so you cant use that as an excuse if you try to go to the city council meetings...

if need be I can give you a weekday only labor deal/huge discount to bring your car/baby back to stock if need be. Ro$hittty is not a cool cop. We have over a dozen cops for customers and they are no way like that.

Let me know if we can help.
