Roof Basket? Non suby help plz

Hey is there anyone on here thats into offroad?

I want to add a roof basket to my Honda Element, and am looking for an affordable option.

Thule and Yakima are crazy expensive for some welded steel. What are some cheaper alternatives?

I have the Yakima load warrior, it fits my Jeep and my Suby, yea its a little $$$ but well worth it in its quality.Plus you can mount anything to it, bike racks, wheels, lights etc.Look on craigslist for a used one or go to the swap meet, I see em all the time.

It's a store that sells racks. All kinds of racks. If you can't find the Yakima Load Warrior for a deal I have one in stock. Just in case.

Try Rack and Road. They sell Used Yakima/Thule stuff. They might have a used Loadwarrior.

Or try Etrailer.com

I used to run a Con-fer rack on my Cherokee...was used mainly for hockey equipment, but I had a high-lift and a shovel mounted on the side and it was great for carrying off-road accesories....plus when we got really bored we attached lemon/potato launchers to the side and had somebody lay in the basket to fire them while mudding....kinda fun...
Edit: it is really easy to install, bolt on-bolt off etc. So easy a girl can do it!
I have to check and see which racks we run on the CJ's now cause they are sweet too!

Kind of a bad pic...
