Thumbs up Rolling though SJ the other day and lookie what I found

A lonely champ car

Too bad the keys weren't left in it

The track seems to be coming along nicely. Here's a pic of the pit stations coming together

Heard lots of people talking about it too, I have a feeling it will be pretty packed, since they've been selling tickets faster than they can send them out. I'm pumped for some local left AND right turn racing.

Too bad I almost missed the boat the boat on tickets since I was originally planning on being out of town this weekend. Dug up some Sunday tickets, but if anyone has extra fri/sat or paddock stuff they are looking to unload/sell PM me!

I saw that on Channel 2 this morning. They said it's the display car. Man, how I'd love to sit in the back seat of that thing while it's tearing it up....that is a second seat back there, right?

Thats correct it's a 2 seater demo car.

here's a shot of the pit straight. The palm trees are in between the course, and pit lane.

It's tough enough for me to drive down to SJ during any normal weekend. I always end up getting lost on their weird-*** freeways that go south then west or east or circle back. I can only imagine how much more lost I'll be with a load more cars there and street closures.

btw, nice pics.

totally.

what trips me out is how 280 south = 680 north, and vice versa. its only for a short time though when the freeway runs east/west, yet says south/north. ok i make no sense.

I had a meeting in Santa Clara last month and was lost for a good half hour trying to get there. I was within a few miles of the office the whole time, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out those damn expressways!

That's why I like SF. It's either 280 or 101; North or South. Then again SF is only 7x7.

Praise be to [insert higher power/deity/etc here]!!! My day is over.

laters y'all.
