rolling fenders!?

rolling fenders!?

does anyone know where i can roll my fenders here in the bay area?! and how much it usually cost to do that?!?!

racenut had his rolled at a shop in watsonville. not sure what it cost though.

If you go to a shop, make sure they are reputible. Some places do it really swift and sometimes mess up, which = paint cracks/flaking in the wheel wells.

Try Gruppe-S, I heard they have a fender roller and charge $150 for front and rear.

had mine done at Body by Hank, here in Watsonville. He trimmed them instead of rolling them though. Said he couldn't guaranty rolling them wouldn't distort the fenders because they are fairly thin and the amount of rolling needed was enough that he said there was still a good chance it would crack the paint, and may flake off to the outside. I didn't want to take the chance. He trimmed them and put some paint on the edge to prevent rust. $36 and it's all good

yeah... baseball bat and hairdryer...
or you can try to find someone with a fender roller (nifty little tool)... but just go slowly when u do it.. otherwise your paint will crack...
