depending on where you live in the bay area: LIC or AutoHQ.

i got mine done at AutoHQ only because i live close to there. i would have equally preferred to go to LIC had i lived closer to there. maybe gst and speedelement? can give them a call too.

Get some friends that need rolling, add beer and just rent a roller: http://www.rollyourfender.com/index.html

The heat gun is your friend. Use it.

^ no worries. i should've said this in the earlier post, but AutoHQ did a great job on the fender roll by taking their time with the heat gun and the proper fender roller tool. it really makes a big difference to have it done right.

no pics. maybe on the autohq thread "today at auto hq". but a rolled fender is just that, a rolled fender. the lip of the fender is just folded up on itself. some shops can make that seam thinner, while others dont do too good of a job of it. i would say LIC and AutoHQ have been doing this for so long that they probably do it the best. i dont know about other shops. ie. if they even do it or not.

How about "pulling" fenders. That's just rolling them so agressively that the fender bulges more right? Can these shops do that too? I'd love to tuck some 245's (or wider) on 17X9's without having to go to coilovers. I want to stick with the Crucial springs.

Yes, we do this here as well. We've done it quite a few times.

how much more clearance does a fender pull give compared to just a roll?

fwiw i tucked 245-40-17 on 17x8 et45 on my wagon. Rolled fenders at AutoHQ, no rubbing whatsoevAr!
