a-roid

hope this isn't a repost.

A-Rod's now coming out of the medicine closet? Gee zus!

I'm was (last year) sick of hearing all the juice hype... but now A-Rod (The highest played player in the mlb) comes out and admits ?!!

He was one of my fave players back when I first started watching and understanding baseball..

comments? is he still HOF material?

No way they can keep all these players out of the hall.

Bonds. Justice. A Rod. Clemens. Big Mac. the list goes on.

No way. But hey... I think they should put Pete Rose back in.

I'm glad he finally came out. Now all the people that were bashing bonds and touting ARod can STFU. Only guy left is Pujols.

I'm sorry but all of these people are on SOME kind of performance enhancing drugs. All the illegal ones are illegal now so now they're on to some new deal that's not illegal yet. Everyone is gonna come out and admit it now because they don't want to be where bonds is right now. Hell bonds could still play as a DH for a few more years but he's blackballed and an example for lying.

Yeah, A has a little over B in that he publicly admitted via broad-casted interview. Not a one up by any means, but I'd rather be in A-rods slacks over bbiddys jeans.

It's arguable, A-rod def. scuffed his name.. probably won't make the hall.
Now, it puts Bonds in a stickier situation because the perjury chargers are more likely to f him over now that A admitted to usage.

What the baseball commissioners need to do is come up with a strict substance abuse policy and apply it asap.

No one should have been called out on this roid **** imo.
Think about if you were a clutch for your company... but did some...blow 5 years ago to get a HUGE job done... (im not anyway for drugs)
Would it be right for the boss to allow for your name to be tarnished?

Its hard to say.. no but maybe yes.. it was an illegal thing to do, but... the job was done..

At the end of the day, the job was done. The world goes on.

play ball!! with no juice from now on...

+1 for pete

I totally agree, with multi millions on the table, these players will do whatever it takes to get an edge.

What happened to the good ol' vitamins?

totally agree. Don't understand why congress (the gov) needed to get involved in all this and waste tax payer dollars in the midst of a recession.

Can't stand A-Fraud, from his pink shirts, to slapping the ball out of the first baseman's glove, to his fantastic choke abilities in the playoffs.

I will admit he is one of the best, and I don't care if he did roids or not cause seriously.. who the F didn't.

He must have at least 1 ******** though to man up the the fact he did it. Can't say that for others (Clemens, McGuire, Bonds) and that's the main difference. Look at Giambi, Pettite, etc.. they manned up. They admitted it, said their sorries, now people don't care. So at least A-Roid manned up, and that alone puts him one spot below Clemens on the list of my most hated ball players.

I love how this idiot is the only one to make the news when over 100 players tested positive.

Again, he can play.. wouldn't mind him on my team, but as far as character goes.. he's a douche. Same w/Clemens. Probably dislike Bonds more tho cause of the SF/Oak rivalry

Has nothing to do with *****. I watched the interview this morning.

Has EVERYTHING to do with being smart and learning from others mistakes. Bonds said he never "KNOWINGLY" took anything illegal. His lawyers told him to stick with that because they'd have to prove he KNEW about it being illegal. They haven't done that yet by the way.

Everyone seeing what's happened with bonds, black balled, court, etc... the lawyers are telling people to come forward and admit it.

AROD never truly took the brunt. He said he was naive. Everyone was doing it. He was pressured because he was the highest paid player. He was in new york. Blah blah blah blah. I didn't know when I was interviewed before that I tested possitive for anything illegal. Etc etc etc etc.

All he did was do what his VERY highly paid lawyers told him to do and say exactly what they told him to say.

NOTHING to do with *****. **** ARod.

I said it about A-Rod and it should hold true for the rest of them that tested positive , if they are still playing and under contract...they should play for FREE until the end of the contract. If they have stopped playing. they need to give back the $$$$$$$$$ they got paid for the period of time they were juicing.

The fans paid to see real athletes, not roided up guys that may as well have been in WWF or playing the badguy in a "Rocky" movie.

It doesn't really bother me at all about anyone who juiced, not just cause they we're ex-A's becuase EVERYONE was doing it. I think it's unfair that certain players now are being blacklisted from HOF. Because of what? Are they saying no one in the hall ever did roids? please. Bonds should be in, McGuire should be in. That's what I think.. we all know Bonds was a HOF before he started juicing anyways. It's not fair. I'm just saying Bonds is a douchebag, cause he is that too. I don't dislike him for doing steroids.

Good point OMA.. thanks for providing sufficient evidence to me that once again Gay-Rod has no *********.
