I just drove back from the totally hazardous blizzard-like driving conditions in Tahoe this morning, unscathed. I'm literally 100 feet from my parking garage when I get backed into by some douche. What are the chances. Probably pretty high considering the amount of clueless hippy trash in SF.
I was behind this guy and he stopped because he missed a parking spot or something. So he starts backing up in the middle of the ****ing street. To make it worse, he doesn't even look behind him! Who the **** backs up and doesn't look back? Apparently this guy. I see his reverse lights and so I start backing up too, only this dude is coming back too fast and there's a car behind me so I can only back up so far. I lay on the horn and the dude doesn't even slow down. Slams right into my front bumper.
Dude gets out of his ****ty Chevy Cobalt. Fat hippy micheal moore long-hair lookalike with some stupid hippy **** written on a tshirt 2 sizes too small. "Sorry man, I didn't even see you there. Looks like theres no damage though." (he was right, but I wish there was because this dude needs to learn some kind of lesson.)

I have had people start backing up without looking but didn't hit me because they actually heard the horn. What I think is whack is they get mad at you as if you just came out of no where when I was behind them the whole time.
Glad he did no damage to your car! They always say most accidents happen within 5 miles from home.

I actually needed to get the car home so I could walk to work, so I didn't really have the time. I know what car is his, and I think he works like a block away from my apartment (if he works). If I see his car again, depending on my mood and the presence of witnesses, there might still be a headache for him.

But then again, some d-bag tourist came up to my town and pretty much stopped in the middle of an intersection and I bumped him less than 5mph and he made a big deal of taking all my info even though it clearly should have been his fault for doing a stupid maneuver and there was no damage whatsoever.
same thing happend to me, some ******* in a parking lot in a lowerd piece of **** chevy backed into me, i was like 20 feet behind this ***** and he backs straight into me, i dont even know where he was trying to back to, he was first in line trying to leave the parking lot, luckily it didnt do much damage but a small dent, but i was still PISSED!!!!

The second most disturbing part was that the first thing he says to me is "oh, looks like there's no damage..." Like he didn't do anything wrong unless there's actual damage.

Welcome to the Bay Area, Sean. Enjoy your stay.

(Seriously, crap like this happens WAY too often around here these days. Didn't used to be like this *sigh*)

I know... Lived here for 3 years now. My IS300 got backed into on the street as well, but there was about $2k worth damage there. Another hippy too. Maybe they know I hate them?

It's like they all left for San Mateo or something.

P.S. WAIT, you didn't trade an IS300 for a bugeye, did you?!

My best friend just had that happen to her, the stupid women literally backed up on top of her hood, completely ignoring the honking. A few months ago a woman in a Tahoe backed on top of my coworkers hood as well, both were in parking lots. I don't understand why people don't stop and look around when there's honking. . . I mean if you aren't paying attention to what your doing and you hear honking it's kind of obvious you're doing something wrong. It should be your first reaction to look around just in case.

Thankfully, I don't care how beat up my car looks, as long as I don't have any mechanical damage. I could care less if my bumper got shredded.
And it's a fact of life, bad drivers are out there.
Now I want to go buy those metal off-road bumpers. It could help reduce or prevent unibody damage...

Don't even get me started about people driving in Tahoe. Not the people from there, just the idiots who think they're superman in an SUV that go there on vacation.
