I do feel sorry for the coyote, but it's impressive where the coyote was hit: pretty much dead center of the vehicle.

Wow there's a ton of Nancy's in here. WTF to you want them to do, have a candle light vigil. A coyote (Canis latrans) is not a dog (Canis lupus familiaris).

I remember someone posted a link to a bike forum... some guy hit a coyote going 100+ on his bike and hit one. Split the coyote in HALF AND didnt drop the bike!

Stopped, parked the damaged bike, then took pics of everything

no candles necessary, just have some compassion. also, coyotes and dogs are part of the canidae family as well as the canis genus. the species however is different. when i said dog family ..i meant the family of dogs.. not a coyote to a chow chow...

Hell I'd stuff that head and mount it on my dash board. You gotta eat some of that ish to show respect. It always cracks me up to see what people will do to dodge an animal on the road. Putting your own life at risk for a squirrel or whatever is just stupid. So my calculations, $50,000+ race car and driver > coyote. Yes cleaning the carnage would result in some nasty humor. Coyotes across the nation are dropped regularly because they cause so much trouble.

whats done IS done.. Compassion isn't supposed to bring back life. but you can feel sorrow for an accident.

it's the smiles in the pics, as if he worked hard to kill the coyote, that i find offensive.

Yea no offense to anyone here....we are all animal lovers. But damn if I was in a position like that or on a canyon road, Id just run him over. F*** flying off the cliff.

They all look like that when they get creamed. I remember loading many deer in rut season. We used to joke about them sticking their tongue out at us cause "yeah I'm dead, but look at your car"
