dude, this totally reminds me of the redwood rendezvous we did many years back... but mine was nowhere NEAR yours. My fiancee was my navi, she saw the deer and I didn't... Hope everything goes well for you from this point on!

I'm really sorry to hear about your accident and the sudden loss of your car. However the good news is that both of you are OKAY!

Looking at those photos, it made me realise just how lucky I was when I hit a cow two years ago last weekend and totaled my beloved car. The cow's head hit the A-pillar on the driver's side and bent it in quite a bit. Your frame damage is definitely more extensive than mine was though.

Insurance should cover everything - including medical if you have it on your car policy. I'd really recommend getting checked out by a chiropractor because you both probably have whiplash.
