RIP Al Davis...
Oakland Raiders
Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis dies at 82 - ESPN
kinda torn up about this. i felt that davis was a detriment to the recent success of the raiders (read: fired gruden when it was just getting good. actually same thing for a couple other coaches).
on the other hand, he was THE RAIDERS. just win baby.

Reguardless of how people feel about him in recent years, or the decisions he has made.
Al Davis is a legend to the sport of football.
He pretty much made the game what it is today, I.E. he didnt invent the passing game but he damn sure revolutionized it.
Brought the Two leauges together.....The list goes on and on
It was funny ESPN ran a long ticker this morning listing all the firsts he had in the leauge and it went on for awhile.
RIP Al Davis Your legacy will live on forever
