i tried to find a route from SJ to Santa Clara that would not require me to use the freeway(s) and could not come up with one. otherwise, i would ride my bike during the Spring months.

one of my ex supervisors from santa cruz used to take the bus everyday to santa clara area, then hop on his mountain bike, and peddled0 the rest of the way to work.
He passed away last summer when he got hit by a car, then run over...
meh. safer to drive car.
