You can't drive a C4s like you would an STI. The AWD system on the Porsche is completely different, and not as advanced as the STI system. The Porsche uses is a VC system, and acts more like a RWD car than a AWD. I've never driven an 996 C4S, but the 993 TT uses a similar system and that car is very predictable and handles very well. Since I have more seat time in the STI than I do in the Porsche, I feel more comfortable pushing the STI than the Porsche, but once you get use to the Porsche, its definitely no slouch.
