The partial throttle response actually took like five minutes. Ed already had the map made and just (I assume) scaled it appropriately for my injectors. I think 90% of it is just smoothing out the stock timing map, which is erratic and all over the place.
He spent a lot of time on my boost control (and it shows). The A/F took like 15 minutes and the timing went really, really quick also. His first adjustments on both of those just nailed it. The boost proved to be a biotch w/ that Perrin EBCS... for whatever reason. But, final results are full boost 400 rpm sooner with less taper than before.

...Ear-2-ear grin. The car runs amazingly and just pulls and pulls and pulls. Half of the smile was from just enjoying the car and the tune, and I think the other half was the g-forces
I've floored it in all conditions we've had. From cold and rainy to the hottest days we've had in the past couple weeks. Floored it from the lowest spooled rpm's in 5th gear... it's perfect. I have yet to find any glitch. Throttle control, throttle response... it's just smooth all-around. Really impressed.
Thanks again, Ed

a stock wrx feel fast when you drive a civic, a catless tuned wrx feels fast when you drive a stock wrx, a vf equipped wrx feels fast when drive a catless wrx.
You aren't helping by putting in more word of mouth praise, if you really care about Ed and want to help EQ tuning, dyno the car asap. Don't get me wrong, I'm strongly supporting you. I'm just politely informing you that you aren't helping.
