what was your mileage?

the engine i got from Earl is much smoother at idle, its quieter... and pulls similarly but i have NOT pushed on it at all. i will at some point, but i'm in no rush at all.

in all honesty, if i wanted to make this RS something really special, i'd drop in a fully built SVX engine with a short ratio'd 6mt, with helical diffs front, center and rear. i'd tone the suspension DOWN slightly to a set of Koni Yellow struts and some 75% stiffer than stock springs (maybe a 1 inch drop, at most) with the full Group N bushing treatment. oh, and the rear spats... i do like the way they look. and i'd keep all the orange body markers.

sup rob! to be honest, i do not frequent mr2oc - its full of dumb kids, ricers and douche bags. there are some (very, very, very few) decent people on there though. me getting rid of my 86 Mr2 would be like cutting off all my limbs - it aint gonna happen unless i die in it, or its so mangled from crashing that the chassis is nothing more than slag.

37,000 miles on a rebuilt engine.

so, either i got a crap rebuild or my driving is just that abusive.

btw - it was very common for me to go thru turns resting just under redline. so yeah. it doesnt help.
