I was thinking about deleting the resonators and just putting in a pipe there... Would the ecu be affected by that negatively cuz all im looking for is a little more rumble...

True, since you have an STI. If you want a louder exhaust you should just go for an aftermarket one, will also give you some power. You don't need to waste money, or energy if you do it yourself, to remove your resonator. Also, it wouldn't hurt your ECU, because you can always reset your ECU/computer so it can adapt.
I have my resonator removed, but then again I don't have turbo so I don't really need an aftermarket exhaust. I just have an OEM STi axleback. My set up is alright. But, if you decide to remove it, go to Michael's Mufflers on Capitol and... Pearl I believe. It's somewhere there.

Just put in a mid-pipe. I ran 3" mid-pipe to an OEM STI muffler, and it sounded great! Especially once it heated up.
$50 for a custom mandrel bent pipe installed.
My reccomended muffler shop is http://www.kwikwaymuffler.com/
Family owned business, and great guys there.
