Boo Surefire - it's all about Inova! I have had Surefire, Streamlight and Inova lights and I like the Inovas better by far. My last Streamlight lasted a really long time and was an excellent light, but it cannot compare to a LED as far as output per $ and longevity when you really need a light to perform for hours and such.

I have a T3, T2 and 2 X03's that seriously rock. I got the LED bulb thing for the mini-maglite at Frys but I didn't know they had one for the big lights. I'm gettin one... Nice find. It makes a HUGE difference on the little ones.

I also notice that when I use Lion rechargeables my flashlights have a nice white light whereas with Alkalines, it's yellowish.

Yeah, we distribute/retail Inova as well; that is a serisously underrated flashlight. I have a T4 rechargeable as my bedroom light and that thing rocks.

Just put the 6v/4 Cell replacement led bulb into my 9v/6 cell maglight and it works. SO far so so good. If it doesn't last too long I'll let you know, but I think it will just burn super bright, and not last as long as it would have in a 4 cell light.

It's like a god damn search light from Jurrasic Park.

Yeah I just picked up the 2 cel LED for my 3D cel mag, and it's considerably brighter than my T3 when focused to a spot. Nice! We'll see how long it lasts..
