Rent-a-hose? Do it yourself detailing area.

Anyone know of a place on the peninsula (close to San Mateo) that you can just bring your car to that's shaded with a hose? Basically a car wash place for folks that don't have a garage yet want to do it themselves.

I was thinking of those car wash booths that you can sometimes find, but I don't know if those are a bad idea or not. I guess I'd prefer a place with a hose that I don't have to keep pumping money into.

Anyone been in the same situation I am? I want to apply some sealant but the only option I have is not shaded so I'm worried about direct sunshine during the application.

Thanks!

Well, at least those places tend to recycle the water instead of wasting it, which in this particular dry year, would help all of us.

you can go to the one near delaware in san mateo near kmart. But I haven't driven in that area for a long time so I don't know if it's still there but I did see it last time I was in that area. It's also near the post office

OMG, Chad, you're still alive and on i-Club. I thought you were long gone having fun in Korea without us! How's life?
