I have a lot of Chinese friends (I did grow up in the Fremont/Milpitas area after all, so Chinese was the same as white to me), and I know a lot of their mothers who are such great characters and would totally stand up for themselves like that!
It makes this video so funny to me! I've seen my friends get chased by anything from rolling pins to raw meat! I love Americanized first gen Chinese mothers (Who came from China in the 70's or whatever and raised their kids here). They are used to a certain culture that they were exposed to in China, and then to have their kids behave like unruly American punk teens, it's the best thing ever... Probably funny cuz my mom did the same to me... I got chased with bike innertubes to belts, you name it.
Although Chinese mothers can dish it out, nothing compares to Vietnamese mothers!
I dated a Vietnamese chick a few years back and she had a pretty big family so I got to see the Viet iron fist come down on the kids... Holy crap! You haven't lived until you've seen a pissed off Viet mother! They don't even need weapons... They are small and look so innocent but damn, don't **** them off. The girls mom (that I was dating) would give me a tongue full of truth if I did something wrong or if I screwed up. She didn't care how offended I was but would pwn me, then offer me dinner and anything else she could give me and always treated me like family... It was really cool. <--- Has had a few beers so pardon the long rambling post
Any Vietnamese people here with parents like this? Is this typical or just a reflection of the families I have seen?

That is what that lady gets. Not trying to put this on race, but i see far too often. They think they are bad asses until they get it handed to them. RIGHT ON! and that lady that was saying "STOP IT"... she needs to STFU and stop being a sellout... acting like she hella "high class" b/c she can speak better english than the rest.

That black lady needs to be charged with Assault and Battery, or at least Battery since she struck that Chinese lady and started the whole thing. The Chinese lady did no wrong and was defending herself to the fullest.
I hope people learn something from this video, both to not start crap, and to defend themselves when attacked like that. I'm glad it was just fists and no weapons were involved... Weapons would have added a whole new factor to the altercation.
