i just got my wrx aligned at a shop in santa rosa. American wheel and tire. I got the FLI Spec alignment and its the best its ever been. It was around $55 i think but definitely worth it!

Firestone lifetime alignment FTW! It's roughly $175 but you can get it aligned as frequently as you want. Definitely worth it after two or so alignments. There's one in Santa Rosa, not sure about your area.

Are they mod friendly?

I don't need upper adj. Just lower camber and toe, so I'm pretty easy.

I think they're OK with the basics, but I would just take the car to them and see what they say. It don't think it'll be an issue unless you're running fully adjustable coilovers.
