You should look into racing Quarter Midgets. It is how many professional race drivers got their start in racing, for kids ages 5-16. It is safe for the kids, especially compared to quads and motorcycles, or even karts. A wide variety of classes, even one that runs straight Methanol :banana: There is a nice track in Rancho Cordova, and I think there is still a dirt track in Rio Linda.

I am slooowwllyyy break him into the thought of racing. i think we are going to go to the Cal game (or at least he is) Saturday, and then I will bring him for the competition Sunday. Hangin' with a bunch of your Dads friends for the day at age 8 isnt his best idea of a great time....bribery is my best weapon
