Recommend any Window Tinters SF/Peninsula?

I need to get my rear window tint repaired/replaced, and want to tint my moonroof as well. Anyone have any recommendations?

Santa Clara‎ CA‎ 95050. Just give them a call. Once you get to their suite u won't be disappointed. They've done even exotics plus it's always lifetime warranty. Did I mention very nice folks too. Good luck oh just tell them Bob recommended you. U might get a discount hehe

I will respectfully disagree. I just had a horrid experience there; I am having to take my car back there for a THIRD time because of all the remaining bubbles and pealing tint (on the edges when you roll down the window).

Or you could just take it to Vince at Omega and be done with it once and for all. Not exactly the peninsula, but excellent work.

Speedzone Motorsports in San Francisco does a good job.

Sorry about thread jacking, but just a quick question: are cops in NorCal pretty **** about illegal window tint (of any shade) on the front driver and front passenger windows?

I kept getting tickets in SoCal for having my front windows tinted, so I just left it off. But it looks crappy with only the back windows tinted. Just curious since I may be moving to NorCal soon....

They will be **** if you give them excuse to be so...I live right next to South San Francisco police department and cannot avoid passing by good amount of cops on daily basis. I have 20% rear and 35% front tint and so far had 0% problems because I don't speed, don't drive suspiciously, and always acknowledge the cop with a nod when he's next to me, etc. Most cops have better things to worry about unless you got 0% tint and/or acting like a D-bag. My $0.02.

I see. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I'd get pulled over for JUST tint. I drive like an old woman for the most part, but in the area I live in (very close to U.S./Mexico International Border) the law enforcement here are very strict on window tint because many smuggler (aliens/dope) vehicles are limo-tinted all around and this causes a serious officer safety issue. So to enforce the law fairly across the board they pretty much ticket for any amount of tint on front windows.

I had very light tint (lighter than 35%) on my fronts and got ticketed. I guess it'll be trial and error once I get up to NorCal. For now, the 110 degree sun is melting the hair off of my left arm when I drive to work.

I had 35% all around for 3 years. I never received a ticket, until I was put over for speeding. By the way, I live in San Francisco and I drive pass the police station everyday.
