Rear axles, how to pull them off!

Unbolt the strut from the rear hub?

You need to pop out a cylinder tyle pin that hold the axle to the diff. Then just pull outwards, they pop right out. I think the pin comes out one direction.

the pin goes through the axle and stub axle , you have to get a punch or something to pound it out . It will look like a litte dot on the green end on the axle, it is located near to the diff . If you spin the axle it should be easy to see.

cant seem to find a pic right now tho otherwise this would be alot easier to explain.

are you sure you're supposed to pound on that? would pressing it out make sense or is that portion pretty tough to break?

you gotta disconnect the hub/strut... then the axle will just pop off..

I will try to get a rex on the lift tomorrow and snap some pics if you like, then that will help end all this confusion.
