Waving is so... <calling my lawyers>gay</hanging up with laywers>. I'm sorry. Its nice and all. But when it becomes compulsory, that is, when people whine when others don't wave its just silly.

Some of us have lives outside of owning a Subaru. Heck, people with Foresters have children. They don't have time let alone enough energy to spot other Subaru's and wave.

If you wave, hey that's spiffy. No, really. Its nice. But if you want the Flanders family in a car, why didn't you get a Saturn?

p.s. I dumped my Saturn cuz I got tired of people waving at me. OK, it was really cuz it was slow, but you get the idea dammit!

but at the same time its NOT a religion.....so I dont always wave...depends on my mood I guess

I wave at other imprezas and most other subies (bcz I drive a Legacy) depending on who's driving....if its some old granny then I don't bother, lol.

This is true....thats why a thumbs up is better then a wave....with a thumbs up, the person knows u are complimenting on the car, with a wave, the person always has to think about "who just waved at me "

 

 

I don't wave unless waved at, which doesn't happen very often in my old *** Legacy turbo. Hell, most of you guys wouldn't even know it was a turbo if you saw me charging down the road. Regardless, now that the WRX is here and it's the hottest damn thing on four wheels, everybody and their brother has one. When it was just the RS, it was a closer knit family and I waved at 'em all and usually got a reply of some sorts (even if it was a scared as hell stare). There's just too damn many of you WRX folk out there to give a crap anymore
