re-calibration of speedometer

My buddy has a '94 Cobra and his speedometer is about 20 mph off on the freeway. Does anybody know where he can go to get it recalibrated? somewhere near the peninsula.

is he running a rediculous size wheel or did he change any transmission gearing or do anything specific that altered the speedo reading? My best guess, if its correctable would be to contact the dealership

thats why i see all these crazy drivers in Oakland with their 26" reems...they think theyre going 75 when theyre really going 90 swerving thru traffic.

dont know how to fix it...get some 20 or 15 profile tires

you know STis have a problem too.

i reported this issue about 4 years ago.

at around 60mph, speedo reads about 4mph off. if you are seeing 60 on the speedo, you are actually going around 56...

that's hella true, there are a few of the speed limit signs with the radar readout on them in town, and each one shows me anywhere from 4-7 mph off...

is easy to tell even if nobody's there to point it out to you... if you're doing 65 mph and nobody's passing you, and your speedo says 45 mph, you're clearly off on the speed reading I had this happen to my truck, it maxes out tops at 75 mph

my RS is off, with stock tire diameter too. going by school mph counters its always like 4mph off and my speeding ticket going 90+, they write me up for 85! lol and he WASNT being nice either! he wouldve said 86 if he could
