Ray Manzarek and Roy Rogers tonight...

at McNear's Mystic Theater.

They still can't tell us if the group is going to allow photography or not.

I'm sure that at least 99.5% of the membership at i-club won't know who either of these two are, but it's going to be an awesome show!!

Yes, why yes Roy Rogers was based on the West Coast. He even has a museum dedicated to his legacy in Barstow, IIRC. He was married for a lifetime to Dale Evans, and had a wonderful movie career.

I know who Ray Manzarek is, and have heard of Roy Rogers of course, but am not sure how the two are related (besides for both being mentioned in this thread).

EDIT: Googled it, didn't realize Roy Rogers sang, thought he was an actor.
EDIT²: Wikipedia says Roy is dead.

Okay, so here's the line-up - first act was Country Joe McDonald

Then came Ray Manzarek (The Doors) and Roy Rogers (slide guitarist/etc.)

Roy Rogers
