Rally Driving Schools? Near CA?

hey all, I'm looking for a school to go to that isn't across the country. My girlfriend got all of my friends together and for my birthday they got me the funds so I can attend Rally School.

Anyhow, the school she found is in NH and while it sounds awesome I've been having a hard time finding the time to go. Does anyone have suggestions for schools here in CA or WA/OR?

None of the classes offered out here are anywhere near as comprehensive as Tim O'neill which I expect is the one you found in NH.

The NW one Jake mentioned there is pretty much the same as the CRS class that used to be offered at Willows but still happens a couple times a year down south:

These are all a great introduction to the sport, but none of them even hold a candle to what you'd learn in a week at Tim's school, I can hardly think of a top level competitor in the US that hasn't done the Tim O'neill school at least once.

If you can afford it you really ought to make the trip out there.

yeah, it's the O'Neill school. She did her research well I guess.

Thanks for the help, I was hoping to go this month but I don't think it's going to happen till the spring now.

a dirt lot should help more than anything, i dont know how much money your spending but something in NH sounds expensive.

How come there arent any places like that Oneill school around here? that really sucks because that looks awesome. I really want to go to Hollister Hills just to check it out.

well Hollister hills for sure has a "donut" lot full of gravel along with their sand pit, mud pit, log crawl (not that you plan to do any of those 3) and i really want to go! their green circle trails should be do-able too

but man that NH place is AWESOME! you cant tell me there isnt ONE rich guy around the bay area,WITH LAND, and enjoys cars or RALLY! whereTF is he and why doesnt he build a ski resort $50 a day type thing for cars? I will for sure if i ever get some land.

CRS would probably be your best bet. Or maybe if Rally America has some local schools...I dunno

with both of your $1200+ admissions and your $300 plane tickets you can buy an acre of your own land somewhere arizona? definitely the plains but thats too far.
