It is like having automatic water spray on the intercooler all day long.

Too bad there are so many other people on the road =

I'll take subfreezing temps and dry roads instead. Or at least snow on the ground. lol

love that i have a legacy!

There was like an inch of snow/ice on devils slide last night, not the best when you have summer tires lol

have you tried the continental dws? i got them during the summer, great on dry roads.

tahoe snow, they're great.

now really just getting to test them in heavy rain, they are awesome.

how is the wear on them? Im mainly concerned about the wear and tear, cause i can get a dedicated set of snow tires for $260 from tire rack lol

Rainy days are pretty fun! I'm definitely glad I drove the Legacy to work today. Although I really need to get rid of my stock Potenza RE92s. They make for some "interesting" moments, even with the AWD.

This. Better for the intercooler as the air is denser than in rain.

How much tread left on them? My '98 Forester loves those tires, because they're not being overdriven.

+1 for the dws. got a set of them this fall, great set of all weathers. they're great in the snow as well as in the rain (believe it or not, they seem to stick nearly as well in the rain as they do dry). makes driving around in this rainy weather much more fun.
