Rain posible today 10/14/05

Rain is possible today with the bay area at 30% and the northbay at 40-50%

Just be careful of dumb drivers out there, most of us can take care of ourselves, but you need to watch out for the morons.

Not too windy here in the east bay. It sure smelled good lastnight though. I love the smell of fresh rain.

It was howling in here in Union City. The rail road crossing arms were bending, the tips getting to near 45 degrees.

Exclamation Rain + stupid people in Celica = Car crash

Well for me it rained late Friday night, and at about 12:00 or so I hear some tires screeching and the and small boom fallowed by a bigger boom. I decided to go check it out.

Well it turns out that a Celica was going around a corner by my house (Where Taylor merges into Pleasant Hill Rd. if you know where that is) and they're tire blew out and on the fresh rain the driver lost control (supposedly at 35) and did a cart-wheel into a ditch on the outside of the turn. Now if you don't know where this is, I have gone around this corner at around 90 EASLY when it was dry so I don't know if he was a really bad driver(my guess) because I don't know how a car handles when you blow out a tire(never happen to me, knock on wood). Everyone was allright but the car wasn't it ended up on its side in a ditch a.k.a. TOATLED. They were VERY luckly because they landed in between two very big trees. If they hit one they wouldn't be alive right now and the tree would be perfectly fine.

Once I got there the two people that were in the car had gotten out and were sorta in shock of the whole thing. Then I noticed that one of they're friends that was on the phone and had a splint on his wrist. I asked him what happen to him and he said that him and his buddys just rolled a Mustang 8 times earlyer in the week!!!

Now I dont understand how people can be this stupid, If you and your friends are getting in accidents this often then you shouldn't be driving. Oh well I'm just glad that no one got hurt and everyone walked away. At least I didnt have to go dragging some lifeless body out of a car and try to bring them back to life.

DRIVE SAFE IN THE RAIN!!!
