In regards to the fans being upset at Jamarcus and the team:
"Fans have varying degrees of tolerance, but turning on the team so early surely goes back to the long-simmering frustrations that form after six years of supporting a team that has given very little bang for the buck.
Under these economic conditions, bang for the buck is important. Oakland's largely blue-collar fan base will spend hard-earned money if it buys a good time.
This particular good time ended with the tailgating."
Quoted for troof and enjoying the misery of the raiders

Only salvation is gonna be keeping the solid guys they have and getting a good draft pick... they may have to suck it up and draft another QB. Either that or make a play for a solid back up... like Darek Anderson or someone like that can make them competitive while developing a true number one QB.
Next years draft has a couple guys that look pretty good....
Jevan Snead could be a guy like Matt Ryan or Flacco who blossoms quick.
Tim Tebow. Guy knows how to win but everyone keeps talking about changing his mechanics to save his arm and give him a quicker release. That could detroy him. He could be a guy like Ryan Leaf. Looks great but just can't make the move to the NFL. Don't have time for that but he might drop to the second round.
Colt McCoy. Dude reminds me of Peyton Manning. Super accurate. Good leader and not the most mobile dude in the world. Raiders won't take him because of that which might be a mistake. He needs a good Offensive Line to succeed.
Sam Bradford
Zac Robinson
Dan LeFevour
and a guy I think might be a late rounder that blows up. Jarrett Brown... he's the kind of guy I could see the Raiders drafting and he might be available in 4 or 5. He reminds me of McNabb.
Another guy I like that's a late round guy is Case Keenum. He might not come out this year though and could use another year of development. He's kinda small. Reminds me a bit of drew brees though.

Jeff Garcia wanted out and I'm sure he had a clause in his contract that said he could leave whenever he wanted. He wanted to play. Unfortunately I think he made a mistake. He'd probably be in already and Kolb is killing it.
No telling though. If the Raiders called him and said hey... you wanna finish out the season he'd probably come. But I think the Raiders are gonna stick with Russell no matter what. He's got the money and even if they decide to replace him they don't want to take ALL of his worth away.

I think it's odd that he decided to not work on his release. But I guess it shows how dedicated he is to making sure Florida wins because it certainly didn't help his draft status.
I personally think he's just gonna be a career backup somewhere. Maybe be a good guy to work in somewhere like Miami that lives on the wildcat.
You think they'll make him a WR?

Wow I bet Garcia feels like a douche now. Should have stayed in Oakland. I wonder if they'll take him back.
