It does. Discuss this with sperry, he's discovered this the hard way after his ESX makeover.

I need to amend my last post. There are other companies that offer a ceramic based product but it is still conductive and therefore still has metalic properties. Formula One's film is NON-CONDUCTIVE. Sorry for the oops.

Hey Scott,

What shops in the bay area use Formula One tint and also how much would I expect to pay for a tint job on a 05 sedan?

I believe the reason people go to Omega is that they do a great job and the cost is down right reasonable.

I'm wondering as well as to how much I would pay for an 04 sedan for all 5 windows tinted?

How good of a job do they do and what kind of warranty to they give you?

after my tint, it still sounds the way it did, still crappy. but i think the 04 sti's, needs to have their antenna powered. theres a link somewhere that shows you how to do it

hey Scott (pdqwrx).
Since you have a plug going, can we get a price tag on the tint (with group buy and how many for a group buy price and individual pricing)?

I'm thinking of just the rear window.

Also, where is this place?

no problems here, and the wuality of work is way better then other jobs i have seen done. Hand done work done well is superior to the plot and cutter jobs i have seen in the past (most plot and cutters get lazy and leave a small line of untinted window around hte edges of hte window Vincent filed off the edges on my car so it looks like the entire window was dipped in tint (no visible lines ANYWHERE)

awesome job, one of hte few people i have seen do it freehand and do it so damn welll..

plus he is way cheaper then everyone else

I agree with everything you said about vincents work, but you don't have an antenna in your rear window

Now I know why my reception is so poor in my 04 STI. I had my windows tinted also. Great looking tint job at a great price. But I can't remember if I got the tint or stereo first. I thought it was just crappy reception. We need to get this figured out. I need KCBS for their traffic reports and am lucky if I can hear it.
