I was driving on the 92 today, and my radar detector lit up. X Band, K Band and KA were going off the entire time.

Never had that happen before. Has anyone else noticed this?

 

You know while you're driving over the bridge? Seriously, look up on the the side where the lights are every 50 yds or so there is a new speed trap camera mounted up on those tall poles with radar detectors wired in too as a back up in case the cameras fail.

Oh, and those unmarked Ford and Chevy trucks that look like beaters on 101 are CHP in disguise.. So watch out for those too. I watched a speeder get busted by a chevy truck this morning on my way to work on 101.

 

Is this something new? I used to work in Redwood Shores and cross the SM Bridge every morning and back at night. I never noticed anything like that. If it's true, then it's pretty scary...

When i went to Boston, the freeways in tunnels are total speed traps, youre better off not speeding in them. Same with bridges.

 

Just went over yesterday and had read this thread before so was on the look out. 5:45ish crossing the bridge and my v1 didn't go off until I was almost off, either end.
